The Unbreakable driveshaft is no longer the weakest link
in the rock crawler’s drivetrain.
The driveshaft is constructed using 1.625” 10 spline case hardened shaft; 6” slip yoke, and 1/4” wall tubing.
For added badness, a 2” 0.120 wall tube sleeve is inserted to do two things. It adds strength to the all ready ridiculously strong 1/4” wall 2.5” tube shaft, and it prevents the spline from “walking” inside the tube. Every shaft is constructed on our Hines Push Up Press
The unit has two centering jaws that will hold the shaft centerline during the push up process, thus eliminating excessive run-out. Once the jaws are tightened, the shaft is ready to be pushed together.
The Shaft is Complete
The people have spoken, and they want the freedom to choose.
The unbreakable shaft is available with just about any ends.

The unbreakable driveshaft possesses superior mass and is for off road use only. Excessive speed will result in catastrophic stress on the pinion and transfer case.
Measure total travel actually needed from the driveshaft. Measure the length with the suspension fully compressed and then when hanging free. Take the difference, add a safety factor to get the driveshaft travel.
When measuring the travel, also check the driveshaft angles. This is necessary in order to select components that operate within their specs. If operating angles are too much, it may require limiting the swing of the axle pinion.
If retubing your driveshaft is getting old, then this is the solution.
